But I'll be damned if this isn't one of the best engine noises I've heard in a long while.

I also enjoy the sound of my car. I guess because of the relatively large (for a small car) 2 liter displacement, it's nice and grumbly and doesn't shriek like most 4-pots until you get towards the top of the rev range.
